The golden Dorado is known as a pescavore which means that its primary diet is other fish.
The target species – the Dorados - have large heads, with powerful jaws filled with very sharp teeth. They average about 3 feet (0.91 m) long, and are golden colored. The average size of the golden Dorado is about 6-25 pounds, but the largest recorded size is 68 pounds. In Salto Grande you may expect to find yourself fighting a Dorado of over 40 pounds.
